There are many reasons why people over-eat. Often the compulsion to over-eat has nothing to do with hunger. It can be better described as emotional hunger rather than true hunger.

I run the Lose Weight Now Programme and the new Lose Weight Easily Event to meet the different needs of clients.

Please note: the success of these programmes depends on the input of both the therapist AND the client. There is no magic wand. The therapist does not brainwash the client into not eating but, rather, gives them the psychological tools and practical advice to enable them to develop new eating behaviours that become automatic over a period of time. The 1-2-1, four session, Lose Weight Now Programme focuses on simple instructions delivered to the subconscious mind which, when compounded by the client's own work at home, builds from a conscious wish to change into a subconscious and automatic new behavioural eating pattern. The weight loss might be small initially but most clients notice a change in their eating patterns by week three or so. It is the behavioural changes that ultimately make the difference in the weeks and months following the programme. The four session programme, plus work you do on yourself at home, ensures changes in eating patterns can be achieved, self confidence can be improved and a new you can be imagined and worked towards.

I am currently producing a specialised weight loss cd to help clients who are unable to practice the self hypnosis that I teach. However if you cannot spare the time to listen to the CD each day, or are unwilling, or unable, to do the "homework" then these programmes are not for you, nor will they work for you. Lose Weight Now Programme

This very successful programme consists of four weekly one-to-one sessions using hypnosis and other therapeutic processes that help you lose weight, manage your weight healthily way into the future and increases your confidence along the way.

The programme is NOT geared towards rapid weight loss but rather to changing your relationship with food. It is a long term process aimed at fundamental change and as such it produces long term benefits unlike dieting.

The programme helps you destroy the underlying compulsions driving you to over-eat, ending the damaging cycle of over-eating/dieting/over-eating, putting you back in control of your life on so many levels.
